Composting Toilet

Design and construction of a composting toilet for use by an allotment group. All materials were reclaimed and the building utilised zero-carbon construction techniques including, green timber framing, a living roof, and lime-based mortars. The building is designed to be cradle to cradle and is fully demountable, re-usable and recyclable,

The designs for the space were realised collaboratively working with the community group. All composted waste is being used on the allotments for a truly closed-circuit environmental approach with zero waste.
