As 2024 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share some highlights from this year and express our heartfelt thanks to all our clients, collaborators, friends and supporters.

Here's a quick look at Studio Manifest’s highlights from the year…

We hit some big project milestones, bringing on 17 new projects to deliver new and improved homes, with 8 planning applications approved. We’ve seen 5 projects completed including Stem House in Shoreditch & more to be showcased on our website in the new year. With 4 more projects currently onsite, we’re excited to go into the new year in full construction mode, contributing to better housing solutions across London.
Our Sustainability Hub launched in June, highlighting topics like our timber-first policy in the timber frame extensions article. Our aim is to provide you with insight into our approach to reducing carbon, sourcing responsibly, and enhancing building performance. Expect further resources and articles to be added next year as we continue to share best practices for sustainable design, while helping clients to make a positive impact on the environment.
We made the news with Pitched House featuring in Homebuilding & Renovating magazine, and our practice spotlighted in Enki magazine for our commitment to sustainable and innovative design. We’re thrilled to see our work and ethos being recognised and shared across the architectural community.
Always putting sustainability first by focusing on reducing embodied carbon, reusing materials, and ensuring that the products we specify come from reliable sources. This year, we refined our specification and products list to lower energy use, cut lifecycle carbon, and provide better value for clients. We also joined the Active House Alliance and presented at Futurebuild, sharing insights on 'The Active House Standard' and its role in designing healthier, energy-efficient homes. We're excited to keep pushing boundaries in sustainable architecture in 2025.
We grew! We welcomed Sophia to the team and recently moved to a new office in Elephant & Castle to better accommodate our growing practice.
